Born and raised in New York City, Emma knows better than most that the creative people and innovative businesses here make the city more vibrant than anyplace else. After receiving her B.A. in Music from Bard College, Emma returned to NYC to work in arts venue management and as a music instructor before joining the Valkyrie team. She’s since developed a front-to-back expertise with Valkyrie’s operation which she combines with an innate understanding of the intersection of art, culture, and commerce to connect the amazing operators with whom we work to spaces where they'll thrive. When not in the office, Emma can be found working on music projects; taking solo road trips to lovely places Upstate and beyond; and fawning over her beloved and deeply apathetic guinea pig, Oscar.
